The sash
A practice record. A badge means a mentor watched one skill. It does not define the organization, and it is not a share. Young women and young men earn the same patches for the same work.
Field

Goat Wrestling
Can handle a difficult animal without injury to either party: catch, hold, move, and release.

Chicken Herding
Can move a flock, close a pen, and keep birds where they belong without a stampede.

Fence Fixin’
Can find the break, reset a post or rail, and leave a line that will hold.
Desk
Named and waiting on a sign-off. These are not drawn as patches until someone has done the work.
Book Keepin’
Can keep a season’s income and expense so the family can see the month.
Load Out
Can get animals, hay, or product from the pen to the buyer without a lost load or a surprise bill.
Neighborin’
Can hold a hard conversation with a buyer, a vendor, a neighbor, or a crew and leave a clear next step.
Hay Math
Can say what a job cost, what it brought, and whether the margin survived the fuel and the repair.
Tax Season
Can assemble what a preparer needs and explain what a return is saying. Does not file for the family.
Law of the Place
Knows the rule well enough to stop: labor, animals, fences, water, sales tax, land use.
