Mission

A character organization for the people who will hold the land.

We form people who can carry a private farm and the business on it. Character is the requirement: keep your word, care for stock, finish the job, tell the truth about the books. Badges only record a skill a mentor watched. They are not the organization.

• All youth, starting with those ready to work

  Young women and young men. We are taking applications now from older youth and young adults who want a purpose, not a patch. The standard is the same. The work matches the person and the place.

• A life, not a season that ends

  You learn the field and the desk. You may earn into a company, and later into stewardship of land. When you become the steward, you step into the next organization. The scout record stays with you.

• Families that outlast one generation

  Own the land. Govern it. Build on it. Decide its use. The businesses interconnect so one family is not alone on the books, the load, or the next pair of hands. That is how a place lasts a hundred years, and longer.

• The catalyst

  Farm Scouts is how the other businesses start. Form the people on land that is already working. The companies, the market between families, and the long legal structure come from that crew.
