Farm Scouts of America is the movement that forms older youth and young adults on family farms that are already running. You get the work, the training, the education, and housing with the operation. You earn toward something you can own. Young women and young men. Same standard.

What you are given
Tools, a crew, the desk, and a structure. Purpose, training, and an education in how a farm and its business actually run. Housing comes with a placed season.
What you can become
A steward. An owner in a company formed with the people who do the work. The scout record stays after you step up. This is a lifelong path, not a summer camp.
This is the start of the rest.
Farm Scouts is the catalyst. The farms stay family farms. The businesses around them connect: labor, equipment, hauling, buyers, and a market between the families. We are prepared to begin with the land and the people already in the circle. The wider structure grows from scouts who can run it.
